Food: A Vehicle of Love

When we eat or cook for others, it is an expression of love. Daily, our food has the chance to nourish our bodies, help feed our families and friends and celebrate life. As a society, our fresh “real” foods have been slowly replaced with ultra-processed foods that have moved away from the nutritious options that were the foundation of health of previous generations.

Despite the importance of nutrition, the link between the foods we eat and chronic disease has not been given the attention it deserves. I am passionate about changing that!

Whether delivering a culinary medicine work shop, hosting a cook-along, or creating innovative ways to meld unique ingredients with traditional flavors, I strive to help bridge this gap. Using a plant-forward approach, I strive to educate on how to help create a sustainable eating style that honors traditions and flavors and also nourishes your health!
