The Power of a Healthy Lifestyle

In my career as an Internal Medicine, Obesity & Lifestyle physician, I have seen the havoc unhealthy lifestyle choices can cause. I have watched patients and loved ones struggling with weight and suffering from chronic diseases like autoimmune problems, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, fatty liver and certain cancers, just to name a few. Few knew that with the right help and changes, they could build new habits, lose the excess body fat and help prevent or improve so many chronic health issues.

In my own health journey, as a woman and mom, I have often struggled to find a balance between maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the challenge of how we as women judge ourselves, stress, and responsibilities of work and family.

Sitting by and knowing that I could help others unlock the power of lifestyle choices was not an option. I worked to develop solutions, grounded in science, that help provide the tools and framework for life-long wellness.

Through my work and voice on social media, I am a staunch advocate for the power of lifestyle choices and a holistic view of wellness. Nutrition, mindset, and healthy habits absolutely are the key to the wellness we choose for ourselves. Wellness is so much more than body size.

Through my medical practice, community education, speaking, wellness consulting, wellness coaching and online courses, I aim to educate and empower other busy, working professional women to steer the direction of their whole body wellness.
